Photos from the 1970s

Colour photography went mainstream in the 1970s, before the processes were perfected. Despite Kodak’s claim of print permanence, photos from the 70s and into the 80s were notoriously fade-prone. Decades later, recovering depth and colour in these faded images is one of the mainstays of our business.

When the restoration work is finished, we print the restored image on archival paper using lightfast pigment inks, to ensure many decades of fade-proof enjoyment.
